I was a field agent for the DHS in Oklahoma for about 2.5 years and was asked
on a few occasions to pick up some "puppy chow" or "tender
vittles."
When I learned about these expressions I was shocked. I have children of
my own and I raised the issue and was let go because I was suddenly "inadequate"
for the job. Now, I cannot get a job even as a security officer guarding a
cemetery. I have been out of work for about 4 months. I am faced with relocating
far away to a different state and might have to leave the country, if possible
and necessary.
I feel that my records have me black-listed.
I would rather not say more.
