In order for the elitist forces who have seized power to bring about a more perfect police state, to insure that the citizenry is as firmly under the boot of their rule as possible, a major "event" will most likely occur. One which will intensify fear and spur the majority of people to willingly surrender their liberties.

In order for the corporate miltary to begin a bombing campaign against another middle eastern nation (Iran, Syria ?) there must be a pretext for war. An "event" so horrible, so devastating, that the tactics of the neo-con agenda will be embraced by a citizenry driven by revenge.

Those who understand just how far the ruling elite will go to bring about a total erosion of our rights and to drag us into endless wars should make every effort to make others aware of any "drills" planned by the military or police forces in the US. We see news of "drills" being planned, and are reminded of the sleight of hand trickery illustrated by the Shell Game - three walnut shells, one pea. Under which shell is the pea? Maybe under one. Maybe under none. During which "drill" will the next false flag operation take place? Which will be used as a pretext to go to war? Which will be used as a pretext to institute martial law ? The elite know. We can only guess.

Scent of maple: False flag coming in NYC?

Team 8plus is worried that something may be in the works for New York's subways:

"As AP, New York Post and others reported today, there had been reports, that "for the second time in two months, a mysterious maple syrup aroma wafted over Manhattan on Thursday, and city officials still don't know what caused it..."

AP, Sat, Dec. 10, 2005:

"..."The calls aren't exactly complaints," city Environmental Protection Department spokesman Ian Michaels said Friday. That's no surprise in a city where a host of less appetizing smells are often on the menu...

..The agency sent out its hazardous materials team to take instant readings of the air from neighborhoods where the calls originated, but nothing dangerous was found. Air samples brought in for additional testing were also negative.

"It is once again a mystery. It seems to be gone," Michaels said..."

NOTE: In late August 2005, the "New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has selected Lockheed Martin as the prime contractor for the cornerstone program initiating a comprehensive upgrade of MTA’s electronic security operations infrastructure..."

We know from our research on the 7/7 london 'attacks', that there had been various terror drills staging an attack on the london and new york 'tube'.

One of these pre 7/7 drills did include gas and was staged in New York City: Secret 'gas' test staged at G. Central Thursday, July 7th, 2005

"...The Federal Department of Homeland Security released gas in Grand Central Terminal last month in a secret study of how dangerous chemicals might flow through the landmark in a terrorist attack.

Nontoxic "tracer gases" were released into the terminal between June 26-30, as scientists from four national laboratories observed, including physicists from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California...."

It is therefore possible, that Lockheed hooked up with Lawrence Berkeley to continue these tracer gas tests in the air of New York, this time perfumed with 'maple'.

If this is an indication for a possible false flag operation in New York city is not clear at this time, but it could indicate an alarm.

In this context it's interesting to know, that union workers of the Metropolitan Transit Authority plan a strike next weekend

White House Tests Flu Pandemic Readiness
Four-Hour White House Drill Tests Government's Readiness for a Flu Pandemic in the U.S.

The White House on Saturday sought to "push resources to the breaking point" as officials tested the government's readiness for a flu pandemic in the United States.

The four-hour drill at the White House complex involved Cabinet secretaries and top federal officials. President Bush, though remaining at the White House for the weekend, did not participate. He went for a bike ride in suburban Maryland on a cold winter morning. Vice President Dick Cheney also stayed away.

White House deputy press secretary Trent Duffy would not discuss the scenario being used to test the government's response plans, such as whether a bioterrorism component was being considered beyond a natural spread of disease.

"It is part of the administration's effort to be ready and have the entire federal government ready to respond in the event of a pandemic," Duffy said. "It's a drill."

Fears of a pandemic have increased in recent months as a virus infecting millions of birds has spread throughout Asia and parts of Europe. While the virus has not yet appeared in the United States, or spread from person to person, officials worry the bird flu could eventually mutate and become as contagious globally as the annual flu.

Human-to-human transmission of the virus would be particularly deadly because humans have no immunity to the virus. So far, the virus has killed about half of the 120 people who have contracted it, all as a result of close contact with poultry.

The administration is working under the worst-case assumption that as many as 90 million Americans would become sick and 2 million would die during a worldwide flu pandemic. A moderate pandemic would kill about 209,000. A severe one, such as the one that occurred in 1918, would kill about 1.9 million people.

To prepare, the administration has been coordinating with Asian nations on methods for early identification of any outbreak, working with the vaccine manufacturing industry to look for ways to speed vaccine production, and stockpiling more Tamiflu, which can reduce the severity of the disease if taken early enough.

Some say that more comprehensive steps are needed to get ready for a possible pandemic, such as boosting the nation's public health infrastructure.

Try, try again: Another nuke drill in Charleston

Back in August, this website and others exposed the plan to nuke Charleston, South Carolina in a false flag operation. The idea of the dark forces behind this plan was that only a purported "nuclear terror" attack could provide sufficient pretext for all-out nuclear war with Iran. (Conventional war with Iran has no chance of success given the overextension of US troops.)

It seems this plan is still on the table, as another "radiological" drill is set for the Charleston harbor on Monday. This website does not see this drill as going live on Monday. But this drill is a useful exercise for the shadow government to refine their plans for another run at a nuclear false flag some time in 2006.

From Charleston Post-Courier Friday, December 09, 2005:

"Don't get nervous, but terrorists will be attacking Charleston Harbor on Monday with a weapon of mass destruction.

Just kidding. It's only a simulation.

But be warned: It could look like the real thing, complete with armed bad guys and helicopters buzzing around.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is sponsoring a disaster preparedness drill involving more than 40 local, state and federal agencies to measure how well each group responds to a post-Sept. 11 catastrophe.

Because part of the drill will be visible to the public, officials are trying to get word of the event out now to head off a potential panic from anyone who might think Charleston is under attack.

Of particular concern are commuters crossing the Cooper River during Monday morning's rush hour who might see events unfold in the water beneath them.

"If people see any unusual activity around the harbor, it's most likely related to the exercise," said Marlene Phillips, a spokeswoman with Homeland Security.

The public is likely to see police boats in action, as well as helicopters, gun-toting security personnel, lots of flashing emergency lights and, potentially, fake casualties.

The method of Monday's mock attack isn't being disclosed. The intent is to keep the 300 area responders, which include medical personnel, police and rescue workers, off guard as to what they can expect to unfold. What is confirmed is that it will involve "a radiological incident."
