THE ZIONISTS HAD A PLAN TO DISINTEGRATE IRAQ IN 1982 AND CONTROL THE ARAB WORLD

In 1982 the Hebrew-language magazine Kivunim (Directions), the official organ of the World Zionist Organization published an important article entitled, “A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties”. The Zionist plan called for the destabilisation of Arab states and the breaking them into their smaller ethnic minorities in order to ensure Israeli domination over the smaller and weaker remnants. Lebanon’s civil war and the Israeli invasion in 1982 was one example and Israel probably supported the Kurdish insurgency against the Iraqi government in the 1980s for similar reasons. This eventually led to the current Kurdish autonomous region and to the American invasion. Iraq appears to be a major recent success for this Zionist plan with the once powerful nation destroyed and the country being torn into three ethnic areas.

The Editor of Kivunim was Yoram Beck of the World Zionist Organization. Also on the Editorial Committee of Kivunim was Amnon Hadary, a member of the Palmach during the Jews 1948 capture of Palestine and ethnic cleansing of its rightful owners. Professor Israel Shahak, Chairman of the Israeli League for Human and Civil Rights translated the article into English and wrote the following comments in relation to the article, which has particular relevance to Iraq:

The idea that all the Arab states should be broken down, by Israel, into small units, occurs again and again in Israeli strategic thinking. For example, Ze’ev Schiff, the military correspondent of Ha’aretz (and probably the most knowledgeable in Israel, on this topic) writes about the best that can happen for Israeli interests in Iraq: “The dissolution of Iraq into a Shi'ite state, a Sunni state and the separation of the Kurdish part” (Ha’aretz, 2/6/1982). Actually this aspect of the plan is very old.1

The Zionist plan included fomenting ethnic rivalries and civil wars to break up Arab countries, as many Arab countries are unfortunately prone to such internal rivalries and strife. One example was Israel’s attempts to create a pro-Israeli regime in southern Lebanon in the 1980s and 1990s. But the plan also included breaking up Iraq into three separate entities: a Kurdish, Sunni and Shiite zone. Israel probably supported, along with America, the Iraqi Kurdish rebellion and insurgency in the 1980s in order to weaken and destabilise Iraq and tear the country apart. This led to a series of events that created what is virtually a separate Kurdish state. One wonders whether Israel also worked with America to provoke Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990 (by working with Kuwait) to continue the destruction of Iraq.

Adequate evidence has emerged in recent years that Israel is still supporting the Iraqi Kurds, including training its security forces, while the American puppet regime in Baghdad turned a blind eye and choose to warmonger against America’s “rogue states” of Iran and Syria.2 Jewish plans and conspiracies have thus succeeded in tearing apart Iraq to destroy a once-powerful and proud Iraqi state that opposed Israel in order to strengthen Israeli control over the Middle East.

Once America destroyed Iraq on Israel’s behalf, Zionist plans immediately turned towards turning America against Syria and Iran to destroy two more of Israel’s main enemies. Plenty of evidence has emerged to support this but two examples may suffice: 1) Israel invented a story in December 2002 that Iraq was transporting “weapons of mass destruction” to Syria in order to embroil Syria in the WMD lie and the coming American war3; and 2) an Israeli think tank starting hyping the “threat” from Iran, rather like how numerous reports hyped Iraq’s WMD and “threat”.4

The 20 year-old Zionist plans for Iraq have certainly come to pass. The Iraq of Saddam Hussein, a major champion of Arab nationalism and opponent of Israeli influence in the Middle East, has been destroyed. This was thanks to the Zionists in the Bush administration who must be implementing the plan, or something like it. While Israel did suffer one setback by being pushed out of Lebanon thanks to the heroic resistance of Hizbollah, they gained revenge by having Syria pushed out of that country. How the Zionist plans against Syria and Iran develop is yet to be seen.

All this is further proof of the interference and manipulation that Israel exerts throughout the Middle East to ensure its domination. Nothing of this is ever heard since Israel is supported by America and the pro-American media provides an Israeli-friendly coverage of events. It also proves how Israel has been responsible for so much of the troubles in the Middle East over the decades. One can only hope that all Arab nations and people realise what country is their real enemy and unite against it.
